1/2 a year old!! aka 6 months

I am absolutely in denial about the fact that my little bug is 6 months old! Like many say, it literally felt like yesterday that Jaymison was born and yet she is getting to be such a big girl with so much love and personality! 

 This is how all of the crawling began, the booty tooch! She had a really hard time getting her bum up at the same time as her head so she spent a lot of time with her face in the floor!

 Jaymison's 6 month mark also brought another fun surprise....her first tooth broke through! It sure is hard to see but there is a little tiny white cap in there!

 It may or may not have been a little pre-mature in March but we were so eager to get little Jay in the pool that we attempted swimming! In her swimming suit was about as far as it got judging by the fact that despite the 75 degree weather the water was icy cold! My FAVORITE picture of my favorite people! Look at that grin, Jay loves her Daddy!

 We are lucky enough to live only a few blocks away from where the San Francisco Giants do their spring training! During the month of March Scottsdale is swarming with Giants fans and baseball players here for training and there is a baseball game just about everyday! Tickets are super cheap so we thought we'd make a day of it! Take me out to the ball game.....

 Jaymison sure made herself at home! Luckily there were extra seats and she was able to enjoy the game lounging in her own seat!

 Although she is only in the beginning stages of crawling, this little girl is definitely mobile! In this picture, Jay started on the play mat and within the matter of minutes was across the living room almost under the couch! Little rolli-polli!

 Being as lucky as we are, we live in Arizona and get to go for walks out in the sunshine in the middle of March! Look at that grin! Favorite!

 Just a few pictures of Mommy/daughter time! I can't get enough of her, trying to soak up every second because before I know it she'll be getting married! YIKES!

And last but certainly not least, some of may favorite pictures of Jaymison and her "boyfriend" enjoying the beautiful weather! If you can't tell, she really likes him and is slightly aggressive! She just knows what she wants!

5 months

Lately little Jay has been getting stronger and stronger! Almost every time I go in to get her from her nap this is how I find her! I love it, she's so stinking cute! 

Gigi, Papa and Auntie Laikin came to visit! Gigi made this adorable outfit and head band love it!

Jay's first basketball game! She made it through quarters but lucky mom had to take her out during the 4th!

BIG step for this little girl! I was somewhat in denial about giving her solids and kinda avoided it for a while! I felt like if I started her on solids it really meant that she was getting big...bittersweet!

She did pretty good....wasn't her favorite thing in the whole wide world but she ate a good couple of bites!

Look at me, I am getting better at sitting up all by myself!

Side note- I am pretty proud of myself! It definitely took some convincing from Matt and Ellie but I finally agreed to climb Camelback with them! It was by far on of the hardest things I have ever done but was so rewarding! This is us at the top!

Daddy had to go to manager meetings for Buckle and we had to take lots of pictures to send him! Mama and daughter!

And last but not least, here are Jay's 5 month pictures! She has mastered rolling over and loves being on her belly! Such a cute little personality we are starting to see! Look at that little pose! Love her!

4 months continued...

I forgot to include the pictures of Jaymison at 4 months! She is becoming more and more interactive every day! She smiles all day long and giggles pretty easy as you can see! She also gets very serious at times as though she is truly investigating what she sees! She is curious and happy, I could not ask for a better baby!

4 Months-Visit from Grandma and Grandpa

 After all of the excitement from the holiday season faded it was hard to go back to the mundane of every day life so we tried hard to keep busy by doing things like hiking! Jay was definitely a big fan but then again she isn't doing any of the work!

We were also lucky enough to have a visit from Grandma and Grandpa to keep us busy! (We may have been a little strategic in our purchasing of G & G's Christmas present in order to get them down for a visit...tickets to the Barrett Jackson car show)

 So many cars....so little time! We all enjoyed the car show, reminds me of my childhood going to car shows with my Dad!

We also took a day and ventured to the Phoenix Zoo which to my surprise is just down the road from out apartment! Jay didn't really have any idea what was going on but we sure had fun!

Last but not least we had to get out the excer-saucer from G & G since it was their gift to little Jay for Christmas! You can by her expression of sheer joy that she loves it! Thanks G and G for coming to visit! We sure do love having company!
